Read the winning sermon from our recent contest
"What the Faith Community
Has to Say About Climate Change"

Environmental Justice

Climate change is today’s most pressing environmental and social justice issue. We encourage people of faith to address and constructively respond to this very real threat to Creation.

Economic Justice

Income Inequality is greater today than at any time since the Great Depression and is creating real pain within our country.   PFJ calls for a fair and moral State budget that supports the less affluent, advocates for a livable minimum wage and supports local efforts to assist our homeless or hungry neighbors.

Peace and Non-Violence

We have been at war for so long— will it never end?
We seek societal change through education, reflection, discourse, advocacy and, when necessary, non-violent protest/direct action.

Human and Civil Rights

While we have made progress in extending human and civil rights to women and racial, sexual and cultural minorities—much more remains to be done!
